Pak Shek Kok (PAK) Station is a proposed railway station to be located between the existing University (UNI) Station and Tai Po Market (TAP) Station on the existing East Rail Line (EAL). Grimshaw International Limited was appointed by the Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRC) in December 2023 to provide an innovative DfMA/MiC railway station scheme, with a focus on the station envelope, for comparison with their existing Base Scheme.
The aim was to optimise the layout and buildability of the station in order to reduce cost, programme and project risk.
Scope
The key scope of work Cranborne delivered on this project was
- Construction methodology;
- Construction planning and sequencing; and
- P6 construction schedule and narrative.
