MTR 1701 Oyster Bay station and Associated Works

The Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTR) sought tenders for the Works under as part of the Siu Ho Wan Depot Property Development package, 1701 Oyster Bay station and Associated Works. 1701 Oyster Bay station was to be built around the existing Airport Express Link (AEL), Tung Chung Line (TCL), and Disneyland Rail Line (DRL) and is envisaged to be a multi-level station with at-grade, side-platforms and three link bridges over the operating main line, linking to the new property development. The project included the construction of the property podium slab (circa 10ha) and associated P-way civil provisions.
Providing tender and technical services during both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Cranborne:
- Led and managed ECI workshops with the MTR;
- Led and managed production of deliverables
- Provided specialist trackwork engineering and Railway Protection support;
- Provided methodology and buildability support; and
- Provided the Stage 2 tender programme.

Various West New Territories Landfill Extension (WENTX)

Alchmex International Construction Limited; China State Construction Engineering ( Hong Kong ) Limited; and, Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited formed a Joint Venture to tender to the Hong Kong Government Environmental Protection Department to undertake an extension to the existing West New Territories Landfill (WENT) Landfill. The scope of project comprises all works necessary for the design and construction for the NENT Landfill Extension (including site formation, installation of landfill liner system, and provision of leachate treatment and landfill gas management systems), environmental monitoring, landfill operation, restoration and aftercare. The DBO (Design Build Operate) project will commence in 2021 and complete some 40 years later.
The key scope of work Cranborne delivered included
- Plan of service (NEC compliant resourced programmes and programme integration);
- Programme Analysis Report/Narrative with Interface Schedule; and
- Programmes for comparison of options/scenarios, including risk and sensitivity analysis.
